Dutch Australian Interior Design Influencer with an out of the box, no nonsense style. After graduating from The Interior Design Institute, Marieke moved from Australia to the Netherlands with her husband and two small children. Quitting a demanding full time role in the medical industry and going free-lance allowed her to follow her dream & passion of renovating houses, creating functional spaces and styling to perfection for executive living. Now, speaking the language of architects, contractors and builders, she has been able to successfully deliver on large reno jobs: project managing all the way from from design and build to final fit out and styling. Historical architecture as a canvas, Marieke puts her stamp on these century old, sometimes monumental, buildings with industrial chic vintage design, combining the old with the new, and simply making spaces work harder for modern living, while making bold yet understated choices.
